alongside is a nonprofit organization. We work with mission-driven organizations, frontline teams, and the people they serve to turn advancing AI capability into public value: building from the point of need, keeping human agency in command, and measuring success by what becomes better for people and missions.
It began with a question we asked ourselves: if artificial intelligence transforms and expands our work, whose enablement would do the most good? The answer was not where resources already are but the ones closest to human need and furthest from technological capacity.
Serial entrepreneur and philanthropist. Art founded Nor1, the hospitality analytics company used by Hilton, Marriott, and Accor, and sold it to Oracle. He has since founded RS11 and leads HartHub, his early childhood initiative.
